David’s watercolors sing on the paper. Vivid in color and loose in style, they pop with vitality and personality. This is not your mother’s watercolor class! It is free-wheeling with splatters, splats and splashes and the result is exuberant movement captured as an instant in time.
You will learn David’s methods of posing subjects and photographing them and how to playfully design and create your paintings. This master colorist will inspire you to break free and play with color and form. Let David’s more than 30 years of painting experience inspire and energize you to take chances and grow.
His high level of excellence in figurative and landscape painting is recognized by artists and collectors nationwide. He has completed commissioned works for many prominent organizations and corporations, as well as being reproduced in art publications such as International Artist, The Art of Watercolour, Practique Des Arts, and American Art Collector.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from UCLA and worked as a Sacramento City College art department adjunct professor for over 17 years. He is now retired from that position.
