Watercolors – Any good brand but I think Grumbacher Academy is best

  • Burnt sienna
  • Van Dyke or sepia
  • Cad yellow deep
  • Vermillion or Cad Red Medium
  • Hookers Green deep
  • Turquoise – optional – I will bring enough
  • Chinese white – Grumbacher is best
  • Cad Orange
  • Raw sienna
  • Cobalt Blue

Paper – I will do at least 1 watercolor a day that will fit a 14×18 or 16×20 frame when matted. I will use 140 lb. or 300 lb. Arches Rough

  • Palette
  • Course sea sponge
  • Masking material – Incredible white is best but I will bring enough
  • Water bucket
  • Tissues
  • Board to tape paper to

Brushes:

  • 1” flat soft watercolor brush
  • #2 round
  • #4 or #6 round
  • 3 old toothbrushes
  • Script liner brush approx. 11/4“ long
  • Masking tape (1” or ¾” wide
  • Bring any old brushes you have

Acrylic

  • Burnt Sienna
  • Mars Black
  • Raw Sienna
  • Titanium white
  • Cad orange or Pyrol Orange
  • Indian yellow or Cad yellow deep
  • Cad red medium or any dark red
  • Teal (turquoise)
  • Cobalt blue

Brushes:

  • 1’falt soft
  • #2 round
  • #4 or #6 round
  • Script line approx. 11/4” long
  • Bring any old brushes you have
  • Large sea sponge (size of a lemon)

Miscellaneous

  • Pencil
  • Tissues
  • Palette
  • Masking material – Incredible white is best, but I will bring enough
  • Water bucket
  • 4 – 14×18 or 16×20 canvases
  • I will be using gallery wrapped canvases but bring regular if you want of any size
