Cloudcroft Art Workshops (CAW)
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS THE POLICIES HAVE CHANGED FOR 2027
Registration:
To reserve your place in a workshop, please complete your registration. Once CAW receives your registration and your deposit or full payment, we will send you a confirmation email, followed by a second email containing additional workshop details. If you do not have access to email, your confirmation will be sent by mail.
If you paid just the deposit when registering, then the balance will be due at the workshop check-in. If you paid the full amount, no further action is required.
Student Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your registration more than 45 days before your workshop, your deposit or full payment is fully refundable.
If you cancel within 45 days of the workshop, we will refund all but a $50 cancellation fee. Of course, you are also welcome to donate a portion of your payment to help support our programs.
CAW Cancellations:
Students registered for a workshop at the time of its cancellation will receive a full refund of any deposit or full payment made for that specific workshop.
If CAW must cancel a workshop for any unforeseen reason, registered students will be notified at least 30 days prior to the scheduled start date.
CAW is not responsible for non-refundable travel arrangements, deposits, or other out-of-pocket expenses incurred by students. We strongly encourage purchasing refundable travel accommodations to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
Student Transfers:
If you have already registered for a workshop and wish to transfer your registration to a different workshop, you may do so without an additional fee, provided the transfer is requested more than 45 days before the start of your originally scheduled workshop.
If there is a difference in price between the two workshops, we will either refund the difference or request payment of the additional amount, as applicable.
For transfer requests made less than 45 days before the start of the originally scheduled workshop, an additional $50 transfer fee will apply.
Data Collection and Personal Data
Your personal data
The contact details you provide (name, address, and email) will be shared only with your instructors and classmates, and used by CAW to notify you about future classes. We strictly do not sell your personal data.
PayPal is available as one method for payment. Any data shared or transactions processed through PayPal are governed exclusively by their separate privacy guidelines. You may review their terms directly in the PayCo Privacy Policy.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist in spam detection.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
When you visit our login page, we place a temporary cookie to check if your browser allows cookies. It holds no personal data and disappears when you close your browser.
Logging in sets cookies to save your sign-in details and display choices. Sign-in cookies last for two days, and display cookies last for a year. Choosing “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for two weeks. Logging out deletes your sign-in cookies right away.

How long we retain your data
When you leave a comment on our website, the comment along with its associated metadata may be retained indefinitely. This retention facilitates the automated recognition and approval of subsequent follow-up comments, bypassing the standard moderation queue.
