New or experimental user in alcohol inks? They are a joy! They are also inexpensive, particularly in this workshop because Anastasia is bringing all the supplies you need except an apron. She also brings an unparalleled  exuberance to art and classes.

She comes to us with high recommendations from our area alcohol ink artists.

Anastasia was born in Long Island, New York and grew up in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Her parents were artists, her father in woodworking and her mother in folk art. They encouraged her from a very early age to see the world in perspectives that translate into artistic endeavor and helped her with her first efforts.

She was a telecommunications engineer for 22 years. Her career path took her to Washington, Oregon, North Dakota, and Colorado. In her spare time, she taught herself artistic techniques by experimenting with watercolors, oils and acrylics. In 2018 she began working with alcohol inks. She says, “This is a source of joy I have never felt with other mediums because of their vibrancy and movement. Every day I wake up looking for the beauty in this colorful world to mimic on canvas.” In 2021 she and her husband moved back to North Dakota to be near family where she is an alcohol ink instructor and provides a variety of styles to learn. She is an inspiration to those artists who are self-taught and driven to create.
