Creation in Collage
Latex gel gloss medium (not the thick kind) the kind that is runny in a bottle it has a green label
Latex gloss varnish (I prefer the shiny) It has a red label
Old brush
Paper towels
Small Container to hold gel med.
Container to hold water
Ruler
Black regular sharpie
2-12 x12 STRETCHED canvas. (no canvas boards, they buckle)
1-14×14 STRETCHED canvas for portrait.
OR 3 12×12’s
If you have acrylic paint, bring a few tubes
Sometimes if I get stumped I paint part of it.
*ANY MAGAZINES THAT HAVE SLICK THICK HEAVY PAGES Bring magazines (or pages) which are slick and heavy. Ex: BAZAAR *COWBOY
DON’T BRING…Southern Living, Better Homes and Gardens. The paper melts and shows through from the back of the page.
Bring the right magazines! Your collage will be more successful.
